Hashoo Foundation has been supporting various Afghan refugee programs, in Pakistan, since 1999 and has helped to train hundreds of men and women over the past 10 years. Currently, Hashoo Foundation is implementing, US State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees & Migration (PRM) funded project, titled “Skills Training and Income Generation for Urban Afghan Refugees”. Main objective of this project is to provide appropriate vocational skill trainings to unemployed Afghan refugees, men and women living in Pakistan, to enable them to take advantage of labor market or self-employment opportunities and eventually increasing their household income.
