Hashoo Foundation initiated the Life Skills training program in 2006 to enable young Pakistani men and women to make the most of their professional competence. Life skills refer to a large group of psycho-social and interpersonal skills which can help people make informed decisions, communicate effectively, and develop self-management skills that may help them lead a healthy and productive life. These trainings are offered by the Foundation through its Human Development Resource Centers located in Rawalpindi, Chitral and Gilgit.

The Career Mentoring Program of Hashoo Foundation is a work-based mentoring and learning initiative. It seeks to provide opportunities (volunteer and internship) to graduates to assist in their development and management of career opportunities. Each student is paired up with a mentor for a period of two months for internship and one month for volunteer work. The mentors are registered for this program and matched with students with similar aspirations.
